The Sterling Municipal Light Department (SMLD)
has temporarily discontinued the installation of meters for our Advanced Meter Interface
(AMI) program due to miscommunications between our meter and billing
system. Installation will remain
temporarily discontinued until this problem is resolved.
We will inform
customers by mail when we proceed with the installations again. We
thank you for your patience in this matter.
