This deposit is held on your account until the account is closed. Once the account is closed the deposit is applied to your final bill. You will be responsible for any charges not covered by the deposit or a refund will be issued if there is a credit balance remaining. This payment can be made in the form of cash or check. You can also choose to have this charge put on your first bill. If you decide to take the bill option, the meter deposit charge must be paid on the due date on your first bill.
